What is the difference between a job that has been "closed" and one that has been "completed"?

Closed: I believe it means they chose someone.  Things can go wrong, however, so completed means the deal is done, files happily received and approved..

I recently found out...."Closed" means that they are no longer taking auditions for the specific job...It does , also mean that they may NOT have found someone YET or that the project was simply in its infancy stage (they were probing) or that the project fell through.

It may also mean that the will be submitting the auditions to their client  and will be waiting for an additional GO AHEAD  on who to award the job to from them..

that is sometimes why the jobs stay closed for a while and we do not see any further action on it.

Actually, if you want the right answers on the status terminolgy (nomenclature)  used by Voices.com....

Ask customer care at Voices.com ...ask for Scott...He has answered that exact question ...for me AND extremely well, I might add!
