Does a project automatically close after it's deadline? Does that mean the client definitely chose talent?

I have noticed there are auditions posted with a quick turnaround time.... the deadline comes and the job closes but there doesn't seem to be an indication the job has been offered or is finalizing/working.

Projects that have a quick deadline will close at midnight EST on the day of the deadline. Once the deadline passes, the job is closed to new auditions.

If a client does get an audition from a talent that they like, they can hire the voice talent on the spot via the Surepay escrow service. Once a deposit is made, the project will move into finalizing status, and Working once the voice talent accepts the payment.

Clients are not required to use the Surepay service and neither are talent. However if your project does move offline please be advised that Voices.com can not become involved in any dispute that does not utilize the Surepay escrow system.
