Why do Voices.com jobs appear on freelance site Donanza.com, which seems to be a VO auction platform?

My guess is that voice seekers often post jobs on a number of different sites to see what they get. Voices.com has a minimum of $100 and some clients are trolling for people who will work for even less than that. If a job that you've auditioned for on this site seems to stay in your "auditioned" file forever and never shows as "working" or "completed" there's a chance that the client found a talent on different site. I've never used DoNanza, but the idea of bidding on a site that pushes that low isn't really appealing to me.

Deborah--
Many thx for response. I'm not likely to use DoNanza exactly for the reason you cite. Plus, lowball bidding is bad for all of us! I came across the site by accident, had never heard of them, and wondered. Thanks for shedding light with a very reasoned answer. Happy New Year and Happy Voicing!
