IS IT RARE FOR SOMEONE NOT TO RECEIVE ANY JOB OFFERS IN ONE MONTH'S TIME? ARE THERE ONLY A CERTAIN AMOUNT THAT RECEIVES JOBS ON A REGULAR BASIS? THANK YOU FOR ANY ANSWERS.

Are you actively pursuing jobs or just waiting for voice seekers to respond to your demos? I've been on Voices.com since August 2011 and have never had a voice seeker offer me work because they heard my demo. I can only speak for myself but the jobs I've received through Voices.com have been the result of my responding very quickly to a posted job. I recommend this approach to everyone.

The great thing about online casting sites is that you have the opportunity to do a LOT of auditions.  The bad thing is that there are many, many other people auditioning for the same jobs.  Having worked with a couple of these sites, this is what I'd advise: First, make sure you are getting your auditions in early.   Since you say you are getting listens, I assume you're getting in early enough (before there are 50 people ahead of you).  Second, try to give more than one read - to give the listener a chioce.  To do this, you may want to do only a part of the script.  Third, ask for coaching.  The site offers a service to optimize your profile.  The more auditions you have coming in, the more chances you have to book one (I do 10 to 20 auditions a day and book, on average, a gig a day).  Also, ask working talent to give your demo a listen.  I am a coach and am happy to listen to others' work.  I can give advice on what may or may not be working in your reads.  Sometimes, you need to fine-tune the instrument and try again.  Remember, on a site like this, you have talent with tons of experience going up for the same jobs as someone with very little.  Even if you've worked before, what's "in" in various industries can shift over time and it doesn't hurt to get a refresher.  You can contact me via my website at www.deborahsalebutler.com.  I'm happy to help.  If you end up wanting to hire someone for coaching, I can point you in the right direction.

I know that you are not the ONLY one, because I am one of those as well.
I always wonder if I am the only one that rarely receives a job offer. I have
attempted to try any new things that might improve my chances, but at this
time I have only had 2 offers and I have now been a member for over a year!
Not wanting to discourage anyone, just to let you know that I'm standing there
with you. Hope we find some clues SOON.
