If there is a thumbs up "liked" sign in one of my jobs in my answered list, what does that mean?

It means that the client not only listened to, but liked your audition.  A client may "like" a number of talents, then go back and re-listen and make a choice.  Although not all "likes" turn into hires, many do, and the ones who don't actually hire you, may keep you in mind for future work.  The more "likes" the better!

So I guess what you're saying is that we should not put too much stock in having received a "thumbs up" because you can be unliked at any time if the client "likes" someone better?
