I use audacity all the time and I'm not encountering any choppy audio at all. I have seen this from other members however, just not in large numbers.

I have worked with a couple of members that were reporting this and the problem seemed to be resolved if they loaded the file back into audacity and exported it back out into a .mp3 format.
