If you're getting sick, how do you handle not knowing what condition you'll be in when it's time to record with others?

I would suggest that you be up front with your client, tell them that you are feeling a little under the weather and that your voice might be a little deeper (if you're male) during the recording session.

Or if the client is one you have dealt with regularly then ask them if you can delay or hurry the recording session so you don't put them in a bad position.
