We do recommend that you check on Google for Voice coaches in your area. Any decent voice coach should be visible online and may even have reviews and references for you to check.

I live in LA and always refer folks to the Voice Over Resource Guide Online (you can get to it through everythingvo.com.  Although the teachers listed in the training section are located mostly in LA and San Francisco, many, like me, offer online training via Skype.  Another good bet is to find a local agent who books V/O and see if there's anyone they recommend.
