For example, if a client is unpleasant, can I simply decline (cancel) the job that I have accepted to do through the website without any penalty in the feedback section?

Hi Thierry,
You can't decline a project online but you can choose to leave a project at any time by contacting us and requesting that we refund the deposit back to the client.
We'll tell the client that due to circumstances beyond your control that you are no longer available to continue to work on the project. He'll be issued a full refund and will not be able to leave feedback for you.
Please just call into our support line at 1-888-359-3472 and provide us with the project number or email us at support@voices.com and we'll be happy to take care of this for you.
And we do apologize for any negative interactions you may have had with any client.
We hope this helps!
