Some of my uploaded demos won't play, though I've recorded all in the same way. How can I fix this?

All were recorded on PC, all in mp3.

Update: I was using IE, but they all seem to play OK with Firefox. But does that mean anyone else using IE will have a problem?

Hi Gordon -

They played fine on Safari and Firefox.  You do have a sound issue, however.  All of your files are too "hot," meaning that the original recording was recorded at too high a level and the sound buzzes when played back.  You should re-record these without slating your name at the front.  Most folks only listen to a few seconds of a demo and will quickly bore with hearing your name over and over again!  Use it on auditions, but not on demos.  Also - be careful of using auditions as your demos.  Many clients post repeatedly and if they search your profile and hear you using copy from another one of their projects (one you weren't hired for), they may have a problem with it.  If you like the copy, rewrite it (since you should re-record your demos anyway).   Keep the style, but not the substance, if it is a product-type that your voice is right for.   Get yourself some decent speakers to monitor your recordings and check for level problems.  Good luck!

Actualy, I uploaded the demos as a stopgap as I thought maybe there was a problem with uploading to the audition message. As it appears to be a browser issue I have removed them.
However, it still begs the question, will anyone using IE have this problem?
I used to have problems with IE when I first started using Voices.com, so I switched to Firefox and all has been well.

I installed Firefox and still can't play my audition, or any of the demos of others...I updated Java to the latest version...I tried enabling and disabling it, in Firefox and in IE...what else can I try? Any ideas?
