PBS TV (Character Act) (Spanish)
PBS "American Experience" is produced by WGBH in Boston. I had to voice four different women of varying ages that appear in this documentary, each with a slightly different voice, per the original version. This was recorded at their studio, where I had to synch up my voice with the TV program, previously recorded in English. As is often the case, the script in Spanish was far longer, so I had to rush through much of the text while still sounding natural and fresh. This is a challenge I embrace and have been told by producers is one of my assets.
'Living On Earth' PRI Radio (English)
Featured on the prestigious radio program, PRI. This program is about a group of hard-working woman workers in Fronteras, Mexico fighting for their rights.
Voiced with a Mexican accent to capture the origin and personality of the real character.

This was recorded in my professional home studio. My voice had to sync up with the images being shown, so pauses were necessary. I am committed to human rights, social change and social justice, so it was a true pleasure to work closely with Grassroots International for this project.

I was selected as the narrator for a DVD called "Green Guide to Pregnancy", teaching young pregnant moms how to care for themselves. Sol y Canto (Latin Songs) (Spanish)
I am the lead singer and company director of Sol y Canto, a Latin roots music ensemble I co-founded with my husband, composer Brian Amador in 1994. Prior to this I sang with my last Latin ensemble, Flor de Caña, for 10 years. This sample is a blend of his original compositions as well as some Latin classics from recent CD's. We record for both adults and children. This demo is primarily a showcase for our adult repertoire, with one bilingual children's song.
