  From having worked on both sides of the microphone and camera since the early 70's--am I that ancient?--I am always pleased to discover people in the industry who have a solid and immediate grasp of a project. While the radio spot that our agency was producing was certainly nothing extraordinary, it did require the right interpretation. Johnny nailed the read with his audition. Obviously, he had read the instructions, pronunciation guide and the copy before walking in the booth.
  
  Johnny's audition was so spot on that we felt no need to direct the session, and the resulting takes were exactly what we needed. We will definitely be calling on Johnny for voice projects in the future.
