Job Description

This script is the introduction for a magician. The magicians name is 'Sammy the Silly Magician'. The magic show is very funny and comedic. Designed for kids ages 5-12. The intro needs to set the tone for a comedy show and needs to be 'spoof' like in nature. I just need the announcer's voice, and I will speak the 'sammy' role live with the recording, so please leave time in between your lines for me to react with them.

(Intro Music Starts)

Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls. Are you ready to see some magic?! You are about to witness the best most amazing magic show in the entire world! Please help me welcome to the stage Sammy the Silly Maa…(gets interrupted by Sammy, music cuts)

Sammy: (whispering)….NO! Wait!….I cant find my magic wand. I can’t start the show!

Announcer: You lost your magic wand? How?!


Sammy: Shhhh no dont say that into the mic!

Announcer: But its show time! Get out there!

Sammy: No! I need my magic wand! Help me look for it!

Announcer: Get out there! Go! The show is starting!

Sound FX: Scuffling and hitting.

Sammy: No! I need my wand!


Announcer: Go!

Magician stumbles out from behind the curtain as if he was pushed by someone. Nervously stands still with eyes wide open.
