Carter VO ONLY

The narration is between a High School Principal and Carter. In this instance, we need to have Carter's Voice read.

Carter is a bit of a “California surfer dude” type. 16 years old.

The entire script have been included so the VO artist knows the context.

PRINCIPAL
Carter, what can I do you for?

CARTER
Dude... It’s my Mom, she’s totally gone wac .
She’s on my case like 24/7 about my marks and that I won’t get into university if I don’t get better grades, and that I need to like focus on my future, but I’m doing the best I can and besides I don’t want to go to university – what I really like is shop class, and working on the engines. I thought maybe some day I could like work on those big airplane engines, or maybe repair monster trucks., It would be even cooler to work on like, I don’t know, like a rocket engine for NASA, or maybe be on a Nascar Pit Crew.

PRINCIPAL
There’s no reason you can’t do that. Even though you’re in the academic stream,it dosen’t mean you have to go to University. Someone with your smarts and talent– maybe you should think about apprentising as a diesel mechanic? You’ll combine hands on experince with training at a college....and you’ll get paid to work! There is going to be a huge shortage of skilled tradespeople.

CARTER
You mean I could get PAID next year to work on engines?
