- Job Description
Chicago-based e-Learning company seeking Male talent to perform the role of both the Narrator and the Game Show Host in one of our current projects.
The project would have a fairly quick turnaround. You will receive the final, approved script sometime on Wednesday, August 23rd and we would like the turnaround of WAV before Monday, August 28th (and are happy to take pieces and chunks as they are ready).
There are approximately 40 clips for each role (the samples provided are on the larger end of the clips).
Thank you in advance and we look forward to hearing from you.
If you are interested, please submit a sample of each character in your submission.
NARRATOR: Welcome to the AMA Prescribing Data Restriction Program Initiative course. This course will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the AMA PDRP initiative, as well as guide you through an interactive Scenario-Based game in order to strengthen your knowledge of the AMA PDRP’s regulations and purpose.
You must successfully complete each section sequentially in order to advance through the course. The required Assessment section at the end of the course will not become active until you have completed all of the previous sections.
To advance through the sections, click the Continue button. You can also use the links in the menu to return to previous sections of the course. Clicking the Exit button will close the course, saving your course progress and returning you to the PPD Gateway.
GAME SHOW HOST: Welcome to the Sales Representatives, District Manager and Regional Managers Super Cool Scenario-Based Game! I’m your host, Buck Foolery… (change back to Narrator voice) um, ok, well, you’ve probably figured it out by now. It’s me again – your suave yet professional Narrator. But it’s always been my dream to be a Game Show Host...and now’s my chance. Humor me, please…
(Clearing throat and returning to Game Show voice) I’ll be your host, Buck Foolery, as you, my AMA PDRP-savvy friend, apply what you’ve learned today. You’ll be facing off Sal – and he’s one tough competitor. Can you see his hand over there in the lower-left corner? Give us a wave, Sal!
Let’s take a look at the set-up. I’m the host—we’ve already established that. This is the game screen, where the questions will appear. Some questions will be based on brief scenes that you’ll view. Other questions will be straightforward multiple choice. Either way, this is where you’ll look to see the question.
Now let’s turn our attention to your buzzer and your eerily lifelike hand. That’s you! In the lower-right corner! After a question appears on the board, your buzzer will light up to indicate that it’s active, which means you can buzz in at any time. Use your mouse to move your hand over the buzzer then click to buzz in. It’s that simple.
