Job Description

We are a Christian Theatre seeking an actor to record a narrator voiceover for our live theatrical production.

We would prefer to work with a fellow believer who could support our mission statement, which is "To present the Gospel of Jesus Christ and sow the Word of God into the lives of our customers, guests, and fellow workers by visualizing and dramatizing the Scriptures through inspirational productions."

Please demo the following lines with several different reads for our review. We are looking for a very dramatic read with careful spacing between the words and great emphasis on each word.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Sight & Sound welcomes you to our production of In the Beginning!

Sight & Sound is committed to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the medium of live theater. Our goal is to visualize the scriptures through dramatic, inspirational productions.

The disciple John said, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”

The scriptures found in the Gospels and Isaiah provide us with the foundation of our story. However, in order to illustrate the conditions of the time and the environment into which Christ would be born, Sight and Sound has created characters and situations not found in the Biblical text. This is a fictional account of a factual occurrence.

We desire that each of you will have a divine encounter with the living Christ, and a wonderful experience through this production at Sight and Sound.

Recording can take place at our studio here in Southeastern Pennsylvania or at a remote studio, if the studio output is of sufficient quality to match our other tracks.
