About Us:

Partners In Rhyme went online in 1994 and became an official ecommerce business in 1996. We originally started out as a group of composers working for former Devo leader Mark Mothersbaugh's Mutato Muzika in Hollywood where we would write music and create sound design for commercials, games, cartoons and TV series.

We provide resources, help and advice to amateur and professional multimedia producers, film makers, musicians and students. Our resources include high quality, professionally recorded royalty free music and sound effects that are affordable with a very generous license for distribution.

The Project:

We are building a library of human type sound effects.

We would need to completely own the rights to the sounds that are accepted.

It would be great if one artist could handle the project, but since we need male and female versions of many of the sounds we would consider splitting the assignments.

Three or four versions of each sound would be ideal.

Here is a basic list:

Baby Sounds:

cry, laugh, happy, scream, giggle, gibberish

Male, Female, Child:

breathe, cough, cry, gasp, giggle, groan, grunt, laugh, moan, scream, shiver, sigh, sneeze, snicker, sniff, snore, yawn, yell

Gender Non-specific:

burp, drink, eat, gargle, gulp, hiccup, kiss, slurp, chew, chomp
