Job Description
I need a 60 second radio ad for a campaign for city council in Champaign Illinois, a university town of 70,000 people. Either gender, any adult age, English language, midwestern-sounding voice, union status not required.

Script:

Great things are happening in Champaign. I’m sure you’ve noticed the new investment, new excitement and crowds back on Downtown streets.

Campus-town is better than ever.

Tom Bruno has been working hard on the City Council to improve Champaign.

Tom Bruno’s ten years of effort on the city council have seen the addition of a fifth and sixth fire station, and the construction of a state-of-the-art library building.

We have more police on the street and a lower city tax rate.

Tom Bruno’s vision is focused on the future.

We can trust Tom Bruno’s sound reasoning to guide the city.

Re-elect Tom Bruno to keep independent common-sense leadership on the Council.

Paid for by Citizens for Bruno.

[Voice of Tom Bruno]
This is Tom Bruno. There are important issues ahead. My ten years experience, as an independent on the City Council, will help us address those issues.
