Since its inception in 1957, Hines has redefined the way developers interact with and treat architecture, promoting a balance between function, beauty, and sustainability. Scheduled for initial occupancy in January 2011, MainPlace represents the continuation of the Hines legacy of architectural excellence. Designed by world renowned architect, Jon Pickard of Pickard Chilton, MainPlace will be the newest landmark to grace the skyline of downtown Houston. Pickard Chilton has a long, distinguished history working with Hines and is known for such celebrated buildings as 1180 Peachtree in Atlanta and 300 North LaSalle in Chicago.

MainPlace is a state of the art, 46 story, 960,000 square foot office tower. 36 floors of offices sit atop a ten-story podium comprising street level retail and parking.

MainPlace is located in the epicenter of downtown, along Houston’s historic and bourgeoning Main Street. MainPlace tenants can take advantage of the vast array of Houston’s downtown amenities including hotels, restaurants, clubs, parks, and sporting venues, which are within easy walking distance of the building. MainPlace is expected to contribute to Main Street’s continued revitalization and to reinforce downtown Houston’s image as an energetic urban destination.
