Welcome to D1SN.COM, home of D1 Sports Nutrition. My name is Greg Peterson, the founder. I created D1 Sports Nutrition because of my desire to provide personalized, banned substance free nutritional supplements for athletes. As a former three sport high school athlete, collegiate athlete, and now Ironman distance triathlete, I know from personal experience that benefits of taking the right nutritional supplements to support my athletic goals.

I originally started this quest to find personalized, banned substance free nutritional supplements out of necessity. I have three sons who are all athletes, but with very different body types, sports, and goals. One is an NCAA Division I football player who 6’ 5” and weighs 260 lbs. One competes at the highest regional levels of endurance motocross and is 6’ 4”, 215 lbs, and the other is an NCAA Division I hurdler who is 6’ 4” and 165 lbs. Like many parents, I have walked into the local nutritional supplement store and asked the clerk for recommendations for my sons. Invariably, the answer was a “one size fits all” approach. I was also concerned that they did not provide us with any information when we asked if the products contained any substances banned by the NCAA or WADA. I did not want my sons to take any substances including unsafe amounts of stimulants that may have long term negative health effects, known or unknown.
