Highlights
Accents and dialects are my specialty. Born in the USA, a North American English speaker, I have fooled Native Australians in an Australian goods shop who apologized profusely for being out of vegemite. A bank teller explained everything to me about cashing my first American pay check as a newly arrived Czech and asked how I liked the country in a very sensitive and motherly fashion. In a bar, after about five minutes speaking with a
Londoner I spent another minute convincing him that I really was not a countryman of
his. After recording a take or two in a Nigerian accent, as the busy sound engineer looked
up, through my headphones came, "Oh my God, he's not even Black!" All can be light to
outrageous. I enjoy playing characters in character, especially with other characters,
which I usually play more than one of in the same production and whether in role playing or narration can provide any emotion in any range desired. I can be completely realistic,
cartoony/goofy or anywhere in between, in any age or either sex in the cartoony/goofy
and most male ages in the realistic. If you need dogs, cats, apes, goats, ghosts or monsters
in the mix you've got 'em. Hey, we're using music in this production and need a singer.
Yup, that too in most styles, as various artists and in any kind of character with accents or
dialects. (It's in the compilation demo.) Also a good writer, photographer (mostly outdoor)
and pretty good Photoshopper with some video editing experience. I am equi'ed tosync audio to video as well. ( I created my own logo in Photoshop.)

Testimonials
Ollin Productions Joe Medina, Writer/Director
Last night, Jamie and I had dinner with up-and-coming voice actor DJ Chiles. Loads of fun. Sometimes we got intimidated by the sheer number of voices, dialects, accents, and gags DJ could do on the fly! We talked about all sorts of things, everything from cats to his work of late. He’s part of an improv group and had recently done some voiceovers for a local PBS station. What he can do is just amazing
We met him and many more voice actors at a Halloween party put on by a lady in the Afterhell cast. At the party, we passed around copies of “Damning Praise” and “Sleepless Days”, two scripts Jamie and I had written for the series. Everyone decided to do an impromptu reader’s theater with “Sleepless Days” where DJ read for a vampire. He gave the role that perfect hint of a Hungarian accent, expertly avoiding camp*
*Note: In my demo this character does sound "campy" but is supposed to for that scene.
