I am a professional opera singer, and have taken extensive courses in Italian, French, German diction (please note, I have conversational skills in these languages but am not fluent). I was born in Connecticut to an Italian-American, and lived most of my life in the same county in Florida that Larry the Cable Guy grew up in, so I have the ability to switch to multiple accents. While working as a server in Orlando, I would often fake an accent to mimic my co-workers from Eastern Europe because I made better tips that way. :) I am a voice teacher and Artist-In-Residence at Opera Naples in southwest Florida, and knowing how to make different sounds with my voice is what I do for a living! I deliver the character and emotion through my voice, which is a rich mezzo-soprano instrument.
