Experience
34 years as a Speech-Language Pathologist (recently retired), more than 20 years as a stage & film actor and over 20 years as a trained singer has given me knowledge and insight into the mechanics of the voice and speech. This wealth of experience has also helped in my development of character voices (male, female, mature, extremely elderly, creepy, bright, exotic, etc). My acting and singing background has enabled me to develop good emotional range to my voice. Currently, I am voicing podcasts for AIRS-LA (an audio internet service for individuals with visual challenges). I have completed a 2 book audiobook project for Redwood Audio, an imprint of McGraw-Hill and I am able to produce retail quality audio books from my home studio. I recently received a diploma as a Certified Medical Narration Specialist. I can, also, serve as a proof-listener for audio book narration productions.
