Celia’s craft was developed and nurtured over two decades of classes and seminars. One of the huge advantages of living in prime VO territory is the opportunity to learn from some of the top names in the industry. Some of the VO greats that Celia has studied with include: Patrick Fraley, Ginny McSwain, Terri Douglas, Ned Lott, Hillary Huber, Dave Sebastian Williams, Terri Apple, Nick Omana, and Don Pitts.

Celia’s formal education includes a B.A. Degree in Music from California State University, Northridge; and several semesters of radio, TV, and communication courses at Pasadena City College.

Celia shares her voice talent (and keeps her cold reading skills sharp) by volunteering as a reader for the Los Angeles Radio Reading Service (LARRS). This service enables the blind and the print-impaired to hear their local, daily newspapers read live – “in real time.”
