For presentations, my voice is clean and confident. For animation, I have a wide range of character voices, from deep and dopey, to nervous and smart alecky. My voice has been likened to Peter Coyote, Donald Sutherland, Josh Lucas (TV's The Firm), and Morgan Freeman (for its folksiness and charm). My focus and drive is on providing powerful, professional voice overs quickly and easily. The job I get the most recognition from is the national ads for Moore's Clothing for Men in Canada ("Well made, well priced, well dressed. Moore's") which I have been doing for a couple years. Over the years some of the clients I have recorded ads for include: Nikon, Coca-Cola, TD Bank, RBC, RIM (Blackberry), YMCA, Canada's Credit Unions, Medieval Times, North Dakota tourism, and The Globe & Mail. Education
I received a B.A. in English Literature & Language from the University of Chicago. I completed teacher certification in History and Drama at the Ontario Institute for Education (OISE)/University of Toronto, and later received a Masters of Arts in Education from there as well. I have been an actor, both full- and part-time, since I graduated university in 1986. My improvisational theater group in Chicago, Cardiff Giant, created and performed many popular shows in its 9 year history. I have appeared in over 3 dozen plays and several films, and completed an intensive course in clowning here in Toronto.
