Experience
After spending 20+ years as a professional musician (avant-garde jazz french horn - I know, I know. What was I thinking, right?), I "stumbled" into Doriane Elliot's voiceover class and was hooked! In addition to Doriane being the daughter of one of my jazz heroes, it turned out that I have some talent (and a great deal of passion) for voice acting!
I've had experience with educational CD-ROM projects, character voice acting and am currently voicing a character (PapaBear) for "AnnaMae's BearStories", a new children's book and CD project.
This is actually the most fun I've had without a large piece of metal pressed up against my face...
