As a high school student, Peter K. O’Connell garnered strange looks from his parents as they passed by his room when he would practice his announcing skills by reading magazine advertisement copy out loud. While they might have expected to hear a record from Bruce Springsteen, Peter’s parents got Ed McMahon instead.

The practice paid off for this 27+ year voice over talent from Upstate New York who has lent his voice to hundreds of commercials, narrations and broadcast imaging projects across the United States and internationally including England, Ireland, Switzerland and Canada.

Peter is President of audio’connell Voice Over Talent (www.audioconnell.com), a professional voiceover service. Peter’s multi-faceted voiceover abilities have allowed him to share many vocal styles with his clients; from soft-sell to hard sell, everyman to character voices of every shape, size and species.

Peter has served in leadership roles on numerous boards and has received many distinguished honors for his numerous achievements in the areas of broadcasting, sales, marketing and community service. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television Communication from the University of Dayton (OH). A pathetic (yet dedicated) golfer, he lives in Upstate New York with his wife and children.
