Highlights
Genuine, warm, honest, credible, matter-of-fact, playful, earnest communicator.
While I am a fresh face in the world of voice-overs, at the age of sixty, I am an experienced voice in the world of communication. Voice-overs are just a logical extension for my well-worn skills of speaking and singing, live and recorded. My extensive experience in both the service side and the creative artist side of the music industry, melded with my blue collar experience of tractor trailer driving and auto mechanics, have ingrained in me a complete and thorough understanding of the concept of service. Just as importantly, I have worked with people from all walks of life quite comfortably and successfully, whether I was interacting with a group of kindergartners in the classroom or dealing with a shipping clerk on the piers in Baltimore. Young, middle-aged, and seniors: I've performed for them all. When customizing a service for a client I listen and take direction well, incorporating client needs and ideas, while offering ideas of my own from personal experience. I am game to try new things at the customer's request, but not afraid to turn down work I don't believe I am suited for. It is my sincere desire to develop client relationships with an eye on the long term. Since I'm confident in my abilities, I don't promise anything I'm not sure I can deliver and it is my work ethic to say what I'll do and then do what I say.
