Rosemary taught in the NYC school system and in private schools in NYC for 10 or so years, before changing careers. She transitioned to corporate training and began managing instructional systems development and technical documentation projects for federal and private sector clients in the Washington, DC area. During this time, she co-founded, with her husband, a successful training and documentation consultancy. Her work experience includes several years of foreign employment in the Middle East and Europe. Her overseas experience enabled extensive foreign travel; she has visited China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Jordan, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Turkey, Crete, Iceland, Hungary, Austria, the Netherlands, Italy, France, Canada, and the United Kingdom (where she has family and friends).
Among the most satisfying projects she led was the Navy Technical Information Program (NATIP), for which she provided voiceover narratives describing the program and its objectives to recipient private sector organizations. This experience provided the impetus for pursuing voiceovers as her next career path.
For enjoyment. Rosemary has sung second soprano/ first alto in a choral group for the past decade and prior to that she was a first soprano in her church choir. She also writes travel articles for an online travel service.
