    For Commercials and Promos:

I have a somewhat deep voice, with a scratchy residue that works well for Dennis Leary type characters.

I'm a very fast talker, and very articulate which may come in handy for faster spots (like CBS promos) and legal tags.

I can be warm and deep for narration or medical ads (ie - empathetic patient). I'm not James Earl Jones or Ian McKellan, but Laurence Fishburne (low-key 'Akeelah And The Bee' or raged at the world 'Fences') or Ken Burns types are a reasonable request.

I'm calm, reassuring, and empathetic when called for.

I also specialize as the regular joe, the unhappily married schlub who can't fix the remote control, the overworked and under appreciated everyman (think William H. Macy types).

    For Animation and Video Games:

I have a large and varied roster of villians, sidekicks, old men, and men of quiet authority. I can do heroes as well, but I have a soft spot for the rogues (everything from low-key Jeremy Irons, conflicted Ralph Fiennes to raged-filled Dr. Doom types).

I can do older kids (think teens to early 20s), but they are not a specialty. My voice has a natural nasal that can be activated at will, which allows for a variety of nerds, geeks, dweebs, and insecure or overconfident teens.

I actually slightly prefer video games as they allow more honest drama and low-key reads, as opposed to the usual over-the-top 'hyper realism' of animation (not counting the serious Andrea Romano work of course). In some ways, a well-written dramatic video game is the closest this business gets to David Mamet or Arthur Miller.
