THE EMPEROR WITHOUT HIS CLOTHES
Treating, or "sweetening" the voice is a common and necessary function in post-production. But what does the voice sound like without the bells and whistles? Here's an example for you...bits and pieces of me on microphone, without EQ or tweaking of any kind save for normalizing to -4 db. This will also give you an idea of what my recording space sounds like.
