Who are the Movers & Shakers?
The Movers & Shakers are the most active community members at Voices.com. The Top 10 are listed on our home page and the Top 100 are listed on the Top 100.
Who is on the New list?
First, is the "New" list. These are the newest voice talents who have registered at the website. It's a way for them to gain some immediate exposure and have others rate their demos for professionalism.
How can I make the most of my time on the New list?
There are a few things you can do, most importantly, direct your clients and business colleagues to your website to rate you, and if they are a registered client, they can also save you to their Favorites. Another suggestion is to upload audio samples and complete your Profile. The more information on your website, the more likely you will show up in a search result. You may even consider adding your Voices.com website address to your email signatures and business cards.
What is the Top Rated list?
The second list is called "Top Rated". The Top Rated list is generated by our new VoiceRank™ technology, a ranking algorithm that's fair, flexible and trustworthy.
How do I rank higher on the Top Rated list?
To improve your Voices.com website, send your clients and business colleagues to rate your voice by selecting a star rating at the top of the page.
What is the Favorites?
Finally, the third list is called "Favorites". People in this list have been most favored by clients.
How do I rank higher on the Favorites list?
Clients can favorite you by clicking the "Add to Favorites" link in the search results, your audition submissions or on your website at Voices.com.
How is the ranking determined?
VoiceRank™ is based upon a combination of the number of ratings you have received, the overall average rating, and the completeness of your profile. The current list reflects how clients have been rating your auditions as well as your former feedback ratings.
Where did these rankings come from? How do clients rate me?
Rankings are based upon client feedback that you have received. Clients can rate you in three different ways at Voices.com: on your website (http://you.voices.com), in the search results, and when reviewing your auditions.
Why do some people have a high ranking but their website is empty? They don't even have a demo!
Are you looking at the people in the "New" list? If so, many of these people recently created new accounts and are working at completing their website, including details and audio samples. Now, if you're looking at the "Top Rated" or "Favorites" lists, these talent are listed because clients have given them feedback through

VoiceRank™ updates daily to help you keep an eye on your progress.
Can I buy a higher VoiceRank™?
Just so we're all clear, no one can buy a higher VoiceRank™, it's the only way for the ranking to stay authentic.
