What's the format of In-Call Media Ads?
In-Call Media ads are basically short audio spots played as part of a phone call. Since the telephone keypad makes for a great way for callers to interact, most In-Call Media ads are interactive. In-Call Media ad therefore typically has three segments:
1. The Lead Audio Spot
2. A Call-to-Action
3. A Desired Response
Ad Types
The Lead Audio spots vary from 10 to 15 seconds in length (a 30-40 word count maximum), and the Call-to-Action and Response combine to create three basic In-Call Media ad types:
1. Click-for-More: after hearing the Lead Spot, the caller can opt-in to hearing more of the advertising message
2. Click-to-Connect: after hearing the Lead Spot, the caller can choose to be connected to the advertiser
3. Click-for-Text: after hearing the Lead Spot, the caller can opt-in to receiving a text message with information from the advertiser
As an In-Call Media producer, you'll be asked to produce audio for these various types of In-Call ads. Note: The "Call-to-Action" part of the ad is actually pre-recorded, and plays automatically.
