From professional announcer, to fully produced audio books with 95% of the characters voiced by me, I have 180 degree voice range. From sexy leading man, to zombie and scientist geek, from old-time radio, to alien and demonically possessed, little boy to cackling old woman. I can be serious and funny one beat apart. Can do multiple characters in sequence. I have not encountered a character I can't create a voice for.
Accents: Russian, French, Middle Eastern, British, Irish, German, New Zealand, South Africa, Mexican, Australian, India, New Yorker, Texan, Cowboy, Darth Vader, Al Gore, Bill Clinton, Aliens, Serpent, creatures of all kinds... some that do not actually exist!
Between 2010 and 2012 I won 3 LA Comedy Awards in the voice/production category - 2 awards with Greg Broadmore (Weta Workshop) for Most Hilarious National Radio Advertisements and Best Web series.
Along with 30 years in radio, I have produced numerous audio projects for Weta Workshop beginning with "Dr. Grordbort’s" collectables and books, including ads for "Lord of The Rings" collectables, "District 9" " Tin Tin" many other collector items. I produced the entire graphic novel written and illustrated by Greg Broadmore entitled “Victory” that I voice acted and produced solo.
Main focus:
Voice characters/sound design and all its amazing possibilities for use in all forms of media, with a focus on the creative area between voice, sound effects, and music, in essence creating sounds that tie the effects and the music together. I have also created thousands of unique Sound FX. Production Skills include mixing an editing up to 24 tracks of voice, music and sound FX
Foley Skills:
Matching live sound effects with the action of the picture, supplying the subtle sounds that production mikes often miss. The rustling of clothing and a squeak of a saddle when a rider mounts his horse give a scene a touch of realism that is difficult to provide using other effects methods.
