Having a distinct voice is always helpful, but having one that is simultaneously flexible is even better. From having the "narrator" voice, to being able to change pitch and do multiple impressions of different characters and celebrities; from commercials to animation, I find that the sky is the limit with what V.O. type I can perform.
Accents are a specialty too, as I naturally sound like I have a New York accent, but can also make a British one.
