A passionate professional performer for the past 21 years, Alex’s career spans film, television, theatre and event entertainment. Forming part of a dynamic acting duo, Break The Ice Entertainment, Alex has hosted two Credit Union Christmas Pageants, playing street DJs, responsible for the live coverage to more than 300,000 event goers.
Break The Ice Entertainment also performed two original cabaret shows written by Alex at the 2017 Adelaide Fringe – Backstage With D & M and Down Glittering Memory Lane with great audience responses. Down Glittering Memory Lane was co-presented with The City of Unley Council, connecting with residents and staff at four aged care facilities and a large audience at a local community centre.
Alex has also recently appeared in a feature film, which is due for release later this year.
Her training includes a Graduate Diploma in Acting at The Academy in London and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Film and Dramas at Flinders University in Adelaide.
Her latest TV commercial work comprises playing lead or featured roles for one of the long-running Bank SA Piping Shrike advertisements and the Vergola series. In addition, Alex has a string of voice over credits for TV and radio advertisements, including a host of Ian Berry Insurance, Fasta Pasta and SA Health commericals.
