I am a British national with a very warm, natural and friendly voice (Received Pronunciation, ). I have worked has a presenter for BBC International Radio and is often chosen for educational and medical work.. I can use my voice to be authoritative, informed and considered by some to be intellectual. It is also strong and mature. North American clients have described it as refined and sophisticated. Being half French I speak the language with a slight (some say charming) accent. Because of my European background I am very skilled at imitating foreign names, specialising in Spanish, Italian and Hungarian.

Apart from being ultra-professional, I have other skills to help your project which includes copywriting and audio editing to a broadcast level. I am also an accomplished and highly experienced interviewer having worked (and still work) for BBC Radio and BBC World Service. I have worked under extreme pressure to very tight deadlines in newsrooms and production areas enjoying . Nicky has been working as a voice artist for 7 years, specialising in e-learning, Charity sector work and medical narrations. She is also praised for her commercial and corporate work. Having worked in broadcasting for more than 30 years, she is highly technical and boasts a home studio, maintained by her engineer partner. She has worked live on air with the BBC, recorded documentaries and is a highly experienced interviewer.

Education

30 years as a radio producer (with the BBC, mainly on their global network) with extensive on air experience as a narrator and interviewer. Education to tertiary level with particular emphasis on the arts. Interested in languages ( fluent French) and a first class ear to imitate foreign words (Hungarian, Spanish, Italian) She is an award-winning Radio producer
