Overview
As a trained opera and choral singer, I have learned to adapt my voice--speaking as well as singing--to any style required. Whether in an audiobook, a short commercial, or a complete operatic role, the challenge of creating believable characters is something I look forward to greatly.
Wearing these many different hats, I have always been able to adapt to direction given by conductors, stage directors, and authors/producers.
Please let me know how I can best produce the voice you need for your project!

I am a classically-trained singer. In addition to years of professional experience performing in opera, musical theatre, and choral organizations, I have recorded voice-overs for videos used for employee orientation and training programs for the federal government.

If you are a writer, and you know your work is generally quite good but you are having a crisis of confidence, have John Boulanger read your work. His pace is flawless, delivery - impeccable, tone - sophisticated and intelligent, handling of dialog and multiple characters - absolutely amazing. He will make your story sound so good you'll barely believe you wrote it.

The title, Clifton Webb: A One-Person Play in Two Acts by Michael B. Druxman was reviewed by AudioFile Magazine. It's available on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.
AudioFile Magazine
Narrator John Boulanger gracefully introduces the multitalented Clifton Webb from the 1940s-50s. . . .Boulanger's portrayal of Webb is subtle, while his depiction of snobbish Maybelle, Webb's mother, is forceful as she dominates his life. . . .Sound effects add atmosphere throughout. The repartee of Webb and his Hollywood friends offers a light touch.
In addition to doing the narration, I also added the sound effects and music cues in the post-production phase, which was an enjoyable process.
