If you've ever wondered what a bottle of good single-malt Scotch might sound like if it could speak -- this is it. Professional ... believable ... authoritative-yet-soothing ... upscale ... deep, rich & resonant ... credible ... inspirational ... relaxing ... calming -- with a genuine warmth that makes people want to pay attention.
Bill has a real-person quality that can vary from serious business-on-demand to gentle Santa Claus or grandfather. A fully-equipped studio allows prompt response to rush projects.
Often described as having a late-night, smokey, 'bedroom voice' -- cool ... soothing ... luxurious. At the same time Bill can be conversational and friendly, engaging and educational -- with a stress-reducing voice that relaxes and inspires even the most demanding listener.
Gifted with a deep set of life experiences as well as a dry sense of humor, audiences instinctively trust Bill -- and as a result he brings that trust and respect to your project.

Bill's maiden voyage into voiceovers dates back even earlier than high school. 'Sad to publicly admit, but just for fun he would "produce" some of the silly stories in Mad Magazine during that era -- sound effects, bad accents 'n' all -- then inflict those gems on friends & family (Forgive me, guys; I was young!).
He spent 23 years in radio, in management and then ownership of Rockin' Easy WFFM97. On-air work was mostly as a production voice. More-recent on-air work was at Classical WQED-FM.
In addition to the radio background Bill spent a decade or two running an ad agency. While other agencies loved print ads, his loved to produce lots of broadcast work. And voiceovers, of course.
As for audio production, he cut his teeth during Those Golden Olden Days Of Razor Blades & Splicing Tape and could only have dreamt of the digital capabilities we have today.
Quite plainly and simply, audio -- good audio -- is in Bill Maxwell's DNA.
