Daniel Bonilla

Newport News, Virginia, US

I have been a singer for nearly all of my life, and have extensive training in the vocal arts both through membership in choral ensembles and three years with a professional vocal coach. For nearly ten years I have been singing Bass in those groups, although I have a very large range covering approximately four octaves, so I am not limited to just the lower end of the spectrum. Aside from singing, mimicking the voices of characters from my favorite movies, TV shows, and video games has always been a hobby of mine. I also have extensive experience in both musical and spoken voice matching, and creating original character voices of my own, and I believe that with the opportunity to engage in any sort of professional voiceover work, I will only get better!

In addition to two years of on-stage acting at the High school level in several productions, I have also been singing as a member of various organizations, including choral ensembles and a cappella groups, for just over 15 years.

Despite my extensive experience in the musical world, I have never formally participated in a voiceover acting position. However, I am an avid fan of the art and wish to hone my skills as a voice actor, as I have spent a majority of my life practicing voice matching in addition to developing original voices of my own. It was only recently that it occurred to me that I might actually be able to do voiceover work as a profession, so I would say that I have between 1-2 years of experience while seriously attempting to join the practice.

Three years of vocal training with a professional vocal coach; membership and study in nine professional choral ensembles over the course of 6 years, as well as in one all-male a cappella ensemble for four consecutive years.
