~The Beginning~
Upon completion of his college basketball stint at The University of Maryland-Eastern Shore and semi-pro basketball in Atlanta, GA, Columbus, OH, Davenport, IA and Scranton, PA, known on the radio airwaves as, DONNI-OH!, Dondre' "Donni-Oh!" Phoenix began his radio career doing weekends on WCEM-AM (Country) in March of 1994. After that, he landed a full-time gig doing evenings on Mix 106.3 in Cambridge, MD in August of 1998. In between, he and business partner Michael Allen opened up a very successful urban fashion store, Flavaz Clothing, from (Phone hidden). As a DJ, DONNI-OH! became well-known for his collection of hip-hop and r&b "street mixtapes" that expanded over 50, from (Phone hidden). In June of 2000, he went on board with Magic 98.9, in Salisbury, MD, as an evening personality. Later, DONNI-OH! moved to mid-mornings, after The Tom Joyner Morning Show. Two years later, it was on to a BIG opportunity. In June of 2002, he became a mixer for the Soul Flow Mix Show, which led to a full-time gig as the evening personality and Assistant Music Director on Sirius XM Satellite's "The Flow" in Washington, D.C./ New York, N.Y. He was also the host of "The Essence", a Neo-Soul and underground Hip-Hop show on "The Flow" Channel 61. Outside of radio, DONNI-OH!'s assisted in promotional relations for B.E.S.T. Sports & Entertainment in Philadelphia/New York City.

Currently, he spotlights independent and unsigned hip-hop and neo-soul artists on his very popular radio shows, "Hip-Hop...The Underground Edition" and "New Soul Sessions".
