I have varied skills and experience as a Voice teacher and as a professional vocalist where I am fortunate to have have performed before large audiences and I find this is useful in simulating and communicating techniques to students besides reassuring them and in building strong motivation. I also possess competent musicianship skills on piano, guitar and bass that reinforce my music theory and enable me to communicate various vocal techniques within the context of the music effectively.
In my daily work with vocalists I am able to improve confidence through systems of specific exercises and honing vocal techniques that enable them to develop their voices naturally with commitment and discipline yet always with a feeling of enjoyment and achievement with my students. I always teach with a very open and friendly approach which I find is always usually the most effective in singing to engage students.
