About Jack Armstrong
Jack Armstrong’s life journey has included lots of stops – things like running nonprofit organizations, serving in the Peace Corps, owning a small business, running for Congress, acting, being a hospice volunteer –
But his greatest passion in life is using his voice, and the nuances of verbal communication, to convey an appropriate tone and quality to meet a client’s needs. Voiceover work is a source of pure joy for him, and he’s been doing it for more than 25 years.
Clients have used lots of adjectives to describe the quality of his work: approachable, authentic, believable, calming, casual, comforting, conversational, credible, educational, folksy, friendly, genuine, helpful, informative, knowledgeable, motivational, natural, professional, real, sincere, trustworthy, warm. The tone reflects the man.
Jack is a FICORE member of SAG-AFTRA, eligible for non-union work.

Jack takes his commitment to his clients very seriously. He believes the first impression conveyed by the voice people hear is at least as important as the visual content, and he appreciates the opportunity to find out about clients' brands, the audiences they are appealing to, and their specific goals for projects they've invited him to be involved with. He wants to get it right the first time, but he's more than willing to go the extra mile to be sure there is complete satisfaction with the final product.Read More
For more than 25 years, Jack has been doing radio and TV commercials, corporate narration, documentaries, explainer videos, industrial training films, and phone prompts (telephone IVR, ACD, auto attendant and simple voicemail greetings). This work is a true sense of joy for him. He especially relishes the challenge of making technical and/or medical terminology sound real and conversational – even when he has no background at all in what the copy is all about.
Apart from his voiceover work, Jack has a long history of public speaking, as well as a variety of on-camera acting appearances, including TV, film, commercials and corporate videos. He played a guest star role in TNT's Leverage and co-starred in NBC's Grimm.
