I have been told many times in life that I have a voice that is striking and unique. While born and raised in the mid-Atlantic region of the US, serving a career in the military, I have been told my "accent" is neutral. That said, I feel I can do a range of accents based on having lived around the country and around the world. On a personal level, I have always loved the delivery of Garrison Keillor and his Saturday evening broadcasts of “The Prairie Home Companion” or the readings of noted historian David McCullough in such documentaries as Ken Burns’ “The Civil War.” If I can touch others with my voice the way these actors have touched me, this is a passion and sense of fulfillment that I seek and why I have my profile here today. Thank you for listening!

I was trained in 2013 through Voice Coaches in Albany, New York and I am interested in getting into the industry. I have continued my training with Sal Dupree Performing Arts in Linwood, NJ over the last two years.

In 1995, I was on active duty with the United States Marine Corps teaching at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and was approached by a colleague to serve as a presenter on a Military Channel production that later became the “First Command” series. Season 1, Episode 3 was titled "Patton Puller Franks" and during this program, I spoke about the early combat experience of a Marine Corps legend, LtGen. Lewis B. “Chesty” Puller. I spoke in uniform for about 2 minutes on screen. The second opportunity I had was as an extra on the filming of the Clint Eastwood film, “Flags of Our Fathers.” In the scene on the dedication of the Iwo Jima Memorial, I am seated behind the character playing the part of President Dwight D. Eisenhower. I had a non-speaking part.

I have a BS in History from the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and an MA in History from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
