I have always been fascinated by accents, dialects and languages from the days of my youth. My father used to bring home an array of various movies and cartoons for the family to watch and I seemed to always have a gift for emulating the accents and pronunciation of a lot of the actors.
I believe in the dialect continuum, meaning all languages have a vocal umbilical chord that can be traced back through history which connects all of them to one another.
Being a professional vocalist used mainly in all manner of musical genres, it has always been a dream of mine to be a voice actor. While having a barrowtone voice as standard, I can also make my pitch very high depending on the character.
I have the ability to mimic and emulate a range of accents and adapt quickly to scripts and concepts. From mad science professors to galactic super villains to chiefs of African villages, there is not a lot that I can not adapt to and do very well when it comes to voice acting. It is what I was born to do.
