My Voice is basically a middle aged deep-raspy voice. I can also do slow mellow type of delivery. I am a Texan and probably sound like one, but can really push that one even more. I can do hi energy delivery or when I was writing spots, I can either do medium, rare or burn it. I could probably do some type of cartoon voices I did that about 40 years ago but no need for it for what I'm doing now.

I am celebrating 50 years in the broadcast business this year, I have worked for 8 radio stations plus 3 TV/Radio combo's and worked on two Ag & Rural news radio networks and was instrumental in building another Network. I worked as a DJ, when there were actual records to spin. Radio news, Agricultural news. Wrote, produced and voiced radio spot copy for local stations and voiced radio copy for networks. Did several freelance projects only one national job and that was for the Department of Energy probably 10 years ago. It was for the Save a Light Campaign, where they were promoting the fluorescent lights to replace the tungsten bulbs. These aired in all 50 states, in D.C. and Puerto Rico. While working in TV, I voiced most of the promos, ID's and some spot announcements.
My education has been building up experience in every facet of the radio business from weekend air shifts to general manager of a network. Some college but no related subject, other than some journalism classes.

I Travel some, but mostly around so unless a trip is planned turnaround could be fairly quick. Retired in 2016.
I can deliver what they want. For me voice work is like acting without make-up.
Voice Over Clients
Seeing how most of the people I have done commercials for were wanting network on-air talent while advertising on our programs, so I was the choice. It would range from a local Texas Chevy campaign to several animal health companies. Plus work years ago for the Cotton Board and of course the previous mentioned national campaign for Dept. of Energy. Not enough time for the last several years to hustle free-lance since I was on air talent and Director of Sales and Marketing for our network, one print publication and one online publication plus a website and digital newsletter. I am now retired and devote all my time to VO work.
