Todd Osborne is a freelance voice over artist based in Madison, WI, with over twenty years of experience recording radio and television commercials, producing morning radio entertainment, and hosting and emceeing live performances and special events. He’s been the voice for Circus Circus’ Adventuredome Rides in Las Vegas, Lowe's Kobalt Tools Brand, and numerous charities including the March Of Dimes’ annual fundraiser.
His radio career began in 1990, as the afternoon host and Production Director of KWMG/KTTT in the small Nebraska farm town of Columbus. It was downwind from every major rendering plant in the eastern part of the state, but just twenty miles from Norfolk, NE, birthplace of one of the greatest television hosts ever: Johnny Carson. The close proximity to Carson’s kinfolk didn’t help his career though, and after 18 months of tornado warnings, and the scent of fresh beef in the air, he followed the call of Lady Luck to Sin City, USA.
What followed was a four-year gig in the promotions department and on the air at KKLZ in Las Vegas, where his work was nominated for an Electronic Media Award. He also enjoyed stints at KZOK and Metro Networks Traffic in Seattle, KDOG and KXLP in Mankato, MN, and KCLH in La Crosse, WI. He has regularly attended workshops and seminars devoted to the art of voice performance. In 2008, Todd was added to the roster of talent at Moore Creative Talent Agency in Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN.
In addition to his voice-over work, Todd is an accomplished violinist and bass guitarist. On the violin, he has performed for audiences in Atlanta, Chattanooga, Las Vegas, Seattle and Minneapolis/St. Paul, and on the bass guitar, toured extensively around the Midwest with The Bad Animals-A Tribute To Heart. He currently works with a variety of Madison-area musicians.
