If you're looking for experience and skill with a fresh, enthusiastic voice to go with it, this is your lucky day. I'm just the person for the job. It's nice to meet you. :)
I've been working in public radio for four years. I'm currently operations assistant and interim program director at WEKU-FM in Riochmond, KY. I've also performed vocal music and theatre my entire life.
My enunciation and articulation are excellent. I have a very good vocabulary and can tackle pretty much any new word without trouble. I can convey a wide array of emotions with inflections. My singing voice is a very strong alto/mezzo soprano.
My primary and only fluent language is English, but I could do Spanish work with some practice, and for small projects, I could learn a script in other languages. I can pick up phrases and short passages rather quickly. In the past, I've learned to sing music in a number of languages including Italian, Swahili, Spanish, Japanese, and I even learned a short tune in Chinese when I was 8 years old.
Aside from my vocal strengths, I have a great deal of skill in audio production. You can hear two samples of my production on this page.
I have a great passion for performance. When you can hear the smile in a performer's voice, it makes a huge difference in the finished product.
