About

Overview

My voice has been described as warm, approachable, smooth and pure, deep, baritone / bass. More importantly, I try very hard to capture the emotion intended by the script and make the words mine, while being mindful that the message is the star. Whether its an audio book, an informative narration, training video, commercial advertisement, movie trailer, character performance, or phone message, my goal is to engage the listener in a professional yet conversational manner such that they remember the message without feeling as though they are simply waiting for the spot to be over. I want the listener to feel like I am speaking with them, not to them. Character voices include rough, dark and dangerous pirate / cowboy types, funny, humorous - even silly characters, and my favorite - omnipotent, booming, commanding characters with strong, dynamic personality. Narrations are gentle and warm with a tone of confidence and knowledge. I work regularly with a drama director and voice coach and consider each job an art creation where I am the tool with which the author crafts their final showpiece.
