A resonant voice that consistently attracts and holds the attention of men, women and children. A tone has a lot of wisdom and character, whether educating, enlightening or persuading. All of that and the ability to go from formal narration, to intimate, sincere and reassuring.
I also have an employment background that makes it comfortable for me to communicate information about unfamiliar technical subjects with ease. I'm a capable copy writer and editor, who can offer alternative takes on your message. I'll take your script and turn it into a living, breathing reality that the listener will want more of.

From college radio I next managed the sound systems and recording at Galaxy 21 Discotheque in NYC and voiced radio ads. I left NY and immediately secured a three hour daytime gig on a 50kw FM station in Houston. I got that job when I went down to talk to the PD and he was late for his own show. Being the only person there with an FCC ticket at the time, I convinced them to let me sit in for him. Forty minutes later he burst through the studio door and said, "You've got a job, when can you start?". One day soon after, the radio old timers who hung out at the Collins (radio equipment store) called in and said, "If you had more guys like him on the air you'd rule Houston radio."
My desire to program an artful and eclectic brand of radio met the realities of the industries programming constraints and I went off to another career. But no matter where I went, my voice was both recognized and employed, for telephone system messages, business presentations and communications. I spent a number of years in Microsoft Corporations Global Security Operations Center and was recognized as the most effective communicator there, consequently being the primary contact with local police agencies (at their request, during events such as the yearly Mass Casualty Incident Drills. I also trained alongside Washington State police dispatchers and received the same certification in Tactical Incident Dispatching.
So while I'm venturing into voice work for the first time in a long time, I do have the professional qualities that place me beyond the beginner state.
College and a very varied and rich experience of life that gives me familiarity with an unusual range of subjects and people. All of that adds up to unusually adept communication skills, the ability to convey information in ways people find understandable and comforting.
